Garden+Landscaping Middle East to be Carbon Neutral for 2010 and beyond; Partnership with EcoVentures to calculate Carbon Footprint and Redeem Emission Reduction Credits
With today’s increased concern over the environment, Epoc Messe Frankfurt GmbH has announced that their up-coming exhibitions in October will be carbon neutral. The carbon footprint for the shows will be calculated and the equivalent amount worth of emission reduction credits will be purchased in order to counter these emissions.
Garden+Landscaping Middle East has an environmental friendly element to them, with a key focus on sustainability and innovation in design and so becoming Carbon Neutral was a logical step. Through the partnership with EcoVentures, the trade fair, which take place October 31 to November 2, 2010 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre will be amongst the world’s few Carbon Neutral exhibitions.
